PSP firmware 2.80 downgrader now available

Ookm, a respected member of the PSP homebrew community, have just released a PSP downgrader that downgrades a PSP’s firmware to 1.50, specially for PSP firmware 2.80. Note that this downgrader CAN brick your PSP if used improperly. At the moment, this downgrader does not implement checks to check if you had the right files in the right location, and thus, if the files were located wrongly, the downgrade will NOT work (and may render your PSP unusable [known as bricking a PSP]).

This downgrader does work and managed to downgrade several PSPs. However, the risk of bricking your PSP using the downgrader is alot higher (if improperly used) than using other downgraders.

Please wait till Ookm comes out with a more stable downgrader (+ file checks).
