It is important to get accepted by many advertising companies like CpxInteractive, etc and to get advertisers/sponsors. If you have improved Alexa Ranking you will get accepted fast, if you have bad alexa ranking you can be rejected or it may take many days for you to be accepted. But alexa rank is not really worth it because it only counts the traffic that uses Alexa Toolbar.
